Hi, we are Ratna and Vishu!
We met first in May 2019 through a dating site and instantly connected. Soon after that Ratna went on her first solo trip to Hawaii for a week during which she spoke to Vishu every day for a couple of hours and the next time we met, we knew we were set for life! We got married in Sept 2019in port Jefferson church, Long Island, in the company of our friends and then had a traditional ceremony back in India later that year in the presence of family members.
We’re each other’s best friend and have a great time together in everything we do. We’re always fun-loving and playful and enjoy living in New York. We like hosting get-togethers at home and Vishu loves cooking; he is excellent at it! There is always a great smell coming from our kitchen. We love to travel and want to explore new places and we recently bought a new home.
We made the decision to grow our family through adoption before we got married, and now we can’t wait to introduce our child to lots of love in our home!

Nuestras vidas
On weekends, we spend our time in catching up with friends and cousins, watching movies, shopping, and relaxing at home. We love to travel-once a year we take a “date” vacation around our wedding anniversary – just the two of us -to a new place- enjoying sightseeing and tasting local cuisines and spending quality time with each other. The second vacation of the year is with family and friends, catching up with each other and just having fun.
Nuestra familia
Family is very important to us. Vishu’s parents & siblings and Ratna’s siblings live in India, and we visit them once a year. We video chat with them almost every other day! Vishu’s cousins live in different areas of the country but we all get together at least once a year.
We also have a big group of beloved friends that live nearby. Everyone is excited to see our family grow and plan to visit a lot more once we become parents!
