Morgan & Christina

Hello! We are Morgan and Christina. We have been together for over 10 years and married for 4. We live in Upstate New York along the St. Lawrence River and have two cats, Marmot (also known as chicken parm) and Huckle Berry. We have taken the time to grow as individuals as well as a couple and are looking forward to growing our family. Together we have built a home that is nurturing, patient and full of love. We value open communication, being each other’s biggest cheerleader, celebrating all of life’s little moments and a good amount of spontaneity. The privilege of welcoming a child into our home is something we feel deeply called to do. Family is extremely important to both of us, we are surrounded by Morgan’s side of the family who lives in close proximity and we take several trips a year to visit Christina’s side of the family. We are fortunate to have careers that not only we enjoy but also allow us the stability and freedom to prioritize having a family.

Our Lives

Christina works at the local school and Morgan works in finance which allows us to have similar schedules. During the week, we cook dinner together and enjoy filling each other in on our day. We love to spend evenings on our back deck or packing a picnic to our local state park when weather allows. We have a lot of family nearby so it is isn’t uncommon to gather at someone’s house or meet up at our nieces’ soccer game. We also enjoy staying in, watching one of our favorite TV shows or playing a board game. During weekends we usually spend time outside doing seasonal activities, going on day trips to the finger lakes or the Adirondack mountains, completing a home project or planning our next big trip.

Our Family

Christina has two siblings who live in Florida. Her parents spend winters in Florida and summers in Connecticut near extended family. Morgan has three siblings, two live local and one in Virginia. Morgan also has extensive extended family living local. Having such close relationships with both families gives us a unique opportunity to share traditions throughout the year. We host Halloween which consists of a chili dinner and trick-or-treating with many cousins and their kids. We alternate spending Christmas or Thanksgiving in Florida and host Thanksgiving the years we are home. Some other traditions include getting ice cream to welcome the first warm day of summer and collecting magnets when we travel to a new destination. We have a few annual trips such as Connecticut and a weekend at our family camp in the Adirondack Mountains. Family is big part of our life, much of our traveling is to visit the ones who don’t live close by.

Final Thoughts

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We admire your strength and know this decision is full of love. Please know any child welcomed into our home will be surrounded by unconditional love and the support to express themself. We hope for the opportunity to get to know you.
