Our compassionate and confidential counselors are available 24/7 via text, phone, or email to help you navigate your options and support you as you create a plan for the future. We can come to you throughout New York, New Jersey and Arizona. All of our services are free.
Our services will always be 100% free for you. In addition, we can also provide pregnancy-related medical and living expenses. These may include expenses for rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation, and more. Your social worker can support you in determining what you qualify for within state guidelines.
It can be difficult to think through your options clearly with a newborn at home. If you have recently given birth and would like some breathing space from parenting while you consider your options, our Interim Care Program offers trained volunteers who can take care of your baby in their home, providing loving care 24/7 while you work with a Spence-Chapin social worker.
Considering your options or making an adoption plan does not mean you are “giving up” your baby. It means that you are making a brave, compassionate decision about the future for you and your baby. That’s why our adoption process is birth-parent led, which means that you choose the type of adoption plan, you choose the family, you are provided with an independent lawyer for free legal services, and your rights as a birth parent are always respected.
